We have known David McCrae, principal of MM+J for several years now as he has been designing and managing the extensive renovation and building work for my husband and I. We are extremely impressed by David’s creativity and flair, as well as his attention to detail and thoroughness when it comes to the management of the build and the contract. He listens attentively to what we want – what we like and don’t like – and has always been responsive to our ideas and opinions. We engaged MMJ Architects to renovate two bathrooms and a combined laundry and powder room. The result shows all the elements of a good design. The dated twenty year old layout was transformed with modern, clean lines, up-to-date bathroom furniture and state of the art lighting. We are especially pleased with the frameless glass shower screens and mirrored bathroom cabinets set flush into the wall. As for the guest toilet and was-hand basin, they sit naturally beside the laundry tub, wash and dryer as if they were always meant to coexist.
David of MMJ Architects looked after us from designing, planning, coordinating building and finishing off our apartment. Our project was a challenge as it’s a small space but we love how our space has been revitalised. Our makeover makes our 50m2 space totally liveable. People can’t believe it is the same apartment.
