THE BYRON BAY PROJECT
We have been approached by a longtime Byron Bay hinterland retired male in need of a more permanent and substantial home.
Brief: Large open living/dining/kitchen with covered deck, taking in the Byron Bay and coastal views. Service area and covered drying area (it rains a lot in Byron), Guest bedroom and master suite with open balcony based shower and bath and small study for very occasional works. Separation and breathability between bedrooms and living and easy 'lock up and leave' design.
2 Timber clad boxes - one vertical, one horizontal - to define the two main zones, separated by an open covered staircase, and utilising the natural fall of the land to reduce the perceived bulk of the living tower, and all rooms aligned to the sea.

UPDATES TO OUR WEBSITE!
Our drawing board now offers a larger variety of hand drawn sketches, 3D renders and mood boards and we have also extended our design collections to include Pools and Garden Flats. As our Australian summer approaches, we understand the importance it is to cool down in your new POOL, so contact us now!
We have seen a huge rise of GARDEN FLATS, also known as 'Granny Flats', in the Northern Beaches in the past couple of years. They increase the value of your property and are a great addition for when family and friends stay over. They can provide your guests with their own sense of space, while you can still enjoy having your own area in the main house too. They are also a great way to keep your adult children, parents or grand parents close by. Garden Flats can also be another source of income by renting them out. So contact us if you would like to see the potential your front or backyard has.
SECRETS, AN EVENING UNDER THE STARS
The 2018 Northern Beaches Charity Ball
The annual Northern Beaches Charity Ball is organised by Jonathan Sharp. The fundraiser is to raise funds to purchase equipment for our local children's departments and wards in our local hospitals. They do this, with the support of, The Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
This event is for around 200 guests, the location is top secret and every year the setting is different. 100% of the funds raised go straight to where it is needed most.

We have been seeing some new architectural trends that we are really enjoying, one of our favourites is the use of NATURAL MATERIALS and panelling. Our Manly House 04 project consisted with a lot of this. We used timber panelling for the house facades to give depth, texture and colour.
The natural timber fencing and large back decking was also specifically chosen as it balanced with the house panelling, creating a cohesive design direction throughout the landscaping and architecture. The timber we selected was untreated, therefore creating an aesthetic that is raw and 'beachy', a perfect fit for a home right near Manly Beach.
