Cremorne Point Apartment 01

Description

Welcome to our latest project—a breathtaking transformation of a magnificent Federation style house, gracing a corner block with an array of preserved original features. At M+M Architects, we cherish the opportunity to breathe new life into historic homes, and this endeavor exemplifies our passion for blending tradition with modernity.

A key highlight of this renovation is the addition of a new first floor, seamlessly integrated within the existing roofline. Through the strategic use of dormer windows, we maximised space and natural light, fashioning inviting upstairs bedrooms that exude charm and character. Each bedroom boasts a sloping ceiling centred to the room, paying homage to the architectural heritage of the home.

Downstairs, our attention turned to enhancing the family living areas, fostering a seamless connection to the rear garden. By reimagining the layout and infusing contemporary design elements, we curated versatile spaces that accommodate the demands of modern family life while preserving the essence of the original structure.

Throughout the renovation journey, our team remained steadfast in our commitment to honouring the heritage of the property. Every addition and alteration was meticulously crafted to complement the existing features, resulting in a harmonious fusion of old-world elegance and contemporary comfort.

The culmination of our efforts is a home that stands as a testament to the enduring allure of Federation style architecture—a harmonious blend of timeless charm and modern sophistication.
