We assist residential property owners on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore, Upper North Shore, Eastern Suburbs and the Inner West.

Meet the team

Luisa Manfredini

Principal

Luisa Manfredini is co-founder and principal of M+M Architects.

Having obtained her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of NSW, Luisa is a registered architect in NSW with thirty years of experience of working in private practice.

Luisa is passionate about construction and residential design. She describes heritage restoration as a labour of love. In 2007, she was awarded the Mosman Good Design Award.

Luisa is involved with national and local groups to culturally inform and socially engage with the community.

In recent times, Luisa has acted as tour leader for the Australian Architects Association Sydney City Skyscrapers Walk; curator for Architecture on Show – an initiative by the Australian Institute Australia; chairperson of the Lower North Shore Small Practices Group; representative of the Chairs of Practice Networks and representative of small practices on the AIA NSW Chapter Council.

David McCrae

David McCrae is co-founder and principal of M+M Architects.

Having obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from Deakin University, David is a registered architect in NSW with extensive experience with a variety of building types and sizes across Australia.

David is actively involved in the architectural profession having acted as Chair of the Lower North Shore Architects Network and represented small architectural practices on the AIA NSW Chapter Council.

He is currently an Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Councilor.

He volunteered to be a tour leader for the Sydney Skyscrapers Walk and the City Bar Tours organised by the Australian Architecture Association.

David is also an active member of the local Northern Beaches community. He founded Mo Manly – a men’s monthly meet-up group committed to raising money for the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter.

Victoria Arteaga-Cortes

Architectural Technician

Victoria studied a Bachelor of Architecture in Bogota, Colombia.

She moved to Australia in 2001 and then went on to study for a Diploma in Building Design at Tafe NSW where she learnt and familiarised herself with Australian Architectural Standards.

She loves to travel around the world, experiencing all different cultures.

Residential architecture is her passion, as she enjoys designing homes for her clients to love and enjoy.

She enjoys walks around Manly and loves the relaxing atmosphere and lifestyle of the Northern Beaches.

Maria Benaglia

Architectural Technician

Maria is passionate about design and creativity, born in Argentina and a graduate of the prestigious University of Buenos Aires, where she earned her degree in architecture.

Her passion for innovation led her to achieve a master’s degree in architecture, but her love for creativity extends beyond buildings.

From the way she dresses to the paintings she creates, Maria seeks inspiration and creativity in everything that surrounds her.

Furthermore, her passion for sports and teamwork has taught her the importance of collaboration and personal growth.

Maria is in a constant learning process because she believes that one never stops learning on this exciting journey of creativity.

Cade Turner

Drafter

Born and raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Cade has a deep connection with and understanding of our unique coastal environment that inspires his passion for enhanced living and well-being achieved through thoughtful design.

Cade holds a Diploma in Building Design from TAFE NSW and a Bachelor’s degree in Media (Visual Communications) from Macquarie University.

Cade is also an artist, specialising in contemporary photography.
